I can see that your case is very similar to mine.
I applied for EB1-OR (and NIW) back in April 06 and it landed at TSC. I'm front a non-retro country.
After waiting for more that 5 months without any news, I upgraded my EB1-OR to PP and it was approved in 6 days. I thought quick PP approval would them get them to process my I-485 quickly, but it didn't. Despite my fingerprint and name check being cleared, USCIS is still dragging its feet; why? I don't know.

I still get the usual "call us back in 30 days if you don't hear anything blah blah blah..."
