Question on passport stamping

I got messages moments ago from USCIS that our I-485s (wife, son, and me) have been approved. I have two questions concerning the passport stamping:

1. Do you need to bring photos when going in for passport stamping?
2. Can you go in to the local office for passport stamping using the online status printout in place of the approval notice?

Any inputs are appreciated.

What a journey and good luck to all!

Hi,

1. You need to take 2 pictures each for each applicant. The approval notice will provide specific instructions on list of items to take. Normally for a minor, they just mail the green cards (I-551) directly after approval and dont necessarily need the PP stamp. but again check the approval notice for specific instructions in your case.

2. You will need to take the printout of the online appointment confirmation and the approval notice and other items mentioned in your approval notice like passport, I-94, photographs, etc.

good luck
