Question on OCI and PIO

When we had Indian Citizenship, our daughter who was born in US had a PIO card.

We recently got US citizenship and are in the process of applying OCI.

Do I still need to convert my daughter's PIO to OCI ? Can she travel to India with her PIO card ? I do not want to convert her PIO to OCI as
it still is valid for so many years..

According to that, your daughter is not eligible for the OCI card as she was not born in India.

Yah her PIO status is still valid. She would have been eligible for it whether you were Indian or US citizens. There's no need to convert it unless you end up moving to India, in which case you can apply for a conversion once you move, or the status expires after 15 years.
