Guys,
My GC story in short is .... my I-485 RD is April 19 2002, have completed my 2nd FP on Dec 31 2003, and after filing 485 my company merged with its sister concern so my attorney filed I-140 Amendment in Sep 2003.
In my case LUD on I-485 changed on 06/21/04 to 06/21/04, without any change in LUD on my I-140. But three days later on 06/24/2004 my I-140 amendment got approved and LUD on my I-140 changed to 06/24/2004, without any change to my I-485 LUD.
I'm trying to find out the cause of LUD change on my I-485 and few thoughts come to my mind
a) it was because I-140 amendment got approved, but then why would LUD on I-485 be earlier then LUD on I-140
b) may be my case got assigned to an officer on 06/21 and I need to wait for 60-90 days.
c) may be when I-140 amendment was approved , BCIS performed Name/security check and I may hear something on my case within next 35 days(to prevent another name/security check)
As of today LUD on my I-485 is still 06/21/2004
Do you guys have any input on my situation ?
