Question on INS Message

Hey guys,

I have a question regarding INS Message, me and my husband have the message that additional evidence is requested (RFE).
This is regarding his Pay Stub , Tax , Letter. I don't have anything to submitt from me.

The question is after my husband submitt the response for RFE, his message in INS changed to ' Responsd is received .....' but in my message it still the same as 'Addtional Evidence requested ....'

Why my message didn't changed? That does anyone encountered this too. I am derivative applicant.

INS has issued a request for further evidence

in your case(derivative) too. Did you get a notice from INS regarding the documents requested for you, apart from your husband's? If not, you will also get one, after which you have to submit the documents. Usualy it is for medicals/Birth certificate/marriage certificate for derivatives.
If the primary alone gets the RFE, derivative's message will still be "Fingerprinting received..blah..blah.." till approval.
If both of your message changed to "RFE" at the same time, you should have received your RFE notice along with your husbands.
Check with your lawyer.

No, I didn't received any RFE for me. Because we assumed since I am a derivative applicant my message will always be the same as him. That's what i am confused about. BTW, thanks for the reply.
