Question on Immigration form – I-131

My I-485 was filed on Aug 15 2007 and is still pending with USICS. I have receipt confirming the date and showing an amount of $395 paid to USCIS. An original I-131 was filed along with the I-485 and was approved.

Since then I had to extend my I-131 once before ( company did it then). Now I need to extend it again.

The instructions for I-131 says "if you have filed Form I-485 on or after July 30 2007 and you paid the I-485 application fee required, then no fee is required to file a request for Advance Parole" (page 8 )

Does this apply to me? or do I have to pay the $305 filing fee ?
 
Unfortunately it does not apply to those who filed during the so-called July 2007 fiasco using the old fee structure. Only those who paid $1010 for their I-485s do not need to pay for new EADs and APs.

You would think that USCIS would mention this is in their instructions to file I-
131 . Currently it just says if you have filed I-485 after July 2007 you need not pay the filing fee. So misleading
