Question on H1B transfer

Hi,

I have a question.

I got my H1B visa on Advanced Studies 20,000 quota for 2006 as I have MS from a US University. My current employer is Dependent Employer which means the company strength is less than 25.

Now I have applied for a transfer. Will I get the transfer as the current year H1B quota is already over? I have read somewhere that for H1B transfer quota is not applicable. Is it true for the people who got H1B under 20,000 visas quota also?

Can you kindly help. This is urgent as my new employer wants me to join asap.
 
If you have got your H1 approved atleast once than transferring or re applying won't be counted in any quotas.
20,000 for Advanced Degree holders and other quotas for regular degree holders is only for applicants who are applying for the very first time.
