I am staying in the same company and have applied for I-485 since 04/26/02 and I am holding a valid EAD (expired date is 07/30/03). My H1B will be expired by the end of October, 2003. Should my H1B be re-newed or can I use my EAD? If I could use EAD then should I notify my company changing my status from H1B to EAD? When we re-new EAD, should we need a valid H1B? If I use EAD and then when I re-new my EAD next time, my H1B was not valid anymore. Do I have a problem with that? My last question is do we need AP to travel out of USA when we are in EAD status?
