i married recently and my wife is us citizen and i am applying for the adjustment of status or green card.i am trying to fill the form I 485 and i am confused about question Part 2 .application type i am confused on what option should i have to check.......a or b.
part 2. Application Type (check one)
a. an immigrant petition giving me an immediately available immigrant visa number that has been approved.(attack a copy of the approval notice,or a relative,special immigrant juvenile,or special immigrant military visa petition filed with this applicaition that will give you an immediately available visa number,if approved.)
b. my spouse or parent applied for adjustment of status or was granted lawful permanent residence in an immigrant visa category that allows derivative status for spouses and children.
