Hi all,
Will the winners of the lottery have the right to ask for help for food or other help?
I think that in the DS 260 they say that it is forbidden to benificate social aids. is it true ?
If yes , will this pose a problem with obtaining citizenship?
 
You're expected to be able to provide for yourself or to have someone who can assist you - that is why some embassies request for an affidavit of support or require the selectee to present evidence they will not become a public charge by showing there's a host system in place to support them.

Don't go through the process with the mind of using food stamps, that is being a public charge!
