All the family could apply if included in the application, so you could apply and your spouse also if you have kids , you could apply for them too, it’s not only for working, it is also used as ID.

there is no need to hire a lawyer just to file an EAD application for $1,500. i did it myself but you could check out non-profit immigration organization in your area.

Is there minimum age for kids to apply for EAD?

I know a mother who applied for EAD for herself and her 9 years son through TPS and both got approved and received their EAD card. I think any age can apply for EAD as long your immigration status qualifies you for that.
