Question on EAD approval message

My EAD was approved y'day (12/31). ND - 11/19/2002

Please let me know the difference between these two messages (the first one is my approval message)

"On December 31, 2002, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready."

AND

"This case has been approved. On December 5, 2002, an approval notice was mailed. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please speak to an Immigration Information Officer during business hours."

Can U tell Ur EAC number (except the last two numbers). Just trying to track mine thats all.

Mine is EAC0304251XXX
 
the second mesg is what I got when my EAD was approved and the approval notice was the physical card which I recd in 5 days.

Mine was a first-time EAD.
 
ZeusChicago, can you also post your center of approval like VSC or ?? reason being, my ead was applied at VSC, ND-12/19..still waiting for AD. Thanks.
