Question on Concurrent Filing

Hi all,
I applied for LC on Aug 28th, 2006 in EB2(Masters plus 2 yrs). I am from India. I want to apply for 140 and 485 concurrently. But my attorney says that concurrent filing is not available. Can you please tell me if it is available? Also, if you send me some links that will give me more information on concurrent filing, that would be great help.

Go to December visa bulletin (http://travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/bulletin/bulletin_3086.html) and see what dates are current right now for your kind of case. Until your priority date is current, you won't be eligible to file I-485.
