Question on co-sponsor's and household member's income

Even if my co-sponsor has enough income (alone), is it a problem if he uses also his wife income in the affidavits ? There shouldn't be a problem, right ?
Thanks for any input. If you wonder why should he use also his wife's income, it's because his income alone is just a little bit above the 125% required , and I really don't want that to be a problem. All papers are already signed.
Please let me know ASAP.
Thanks !

No, it's not a problem. In this case the wife of your co-sponsor needs to fill out I-864 A.

Good luck for your interview.

Thanks for the quick reply, myjuls. I have the copy of their certificate of naturalization and their proof of employment. No originals are needed, right ?

Although I don't think you needed it, but it won't hurt.
Better be safe than sorry! ;)

Good luck, Ema!

Please, anyone !
I am going to get the copies of my sponsors ceritificate of naturalization notarized. Should I also get notarized our birth certificates (the copies)? I really don't remember and my interview is tomorrow. I know it's a late question but that's the only think left for me to prepare.

Ema.

P.S. : Is there any other documents to notarized (like passport, DL copies ??)

do we need to notarize any docs? I thought if we have the originals with us it wouldn't matter..am in correct?

Thank you Sjiwani !!!

Meers, I am going to get my marriage certificate notarized because it's on the list on the interview letter, and of course any affidavits of support. I think you are right when you say that if we have originals with us we don't need certified copies. I mean, after all, that's logical :) . I probably worry too much...

Ema,

You don't need to notarize the copies of your documents, at all. (I am not talking about I-864/864A, just documents).
Does it say in your interview letter to bring a notarized copy of the marriege certificate? I don't think so.
Read this: http://uscis.gov/graphics/fieldoffices/scnational/index.htm#H
Note: "14. USCIS no longer routinely requires submission of original documents or "certified copies." Instead, ordinary legible photocopies of such documents (including naturalization certificates and alien registration cards) will be acceptable for initial filing and approval of petitions and applications."

Thanks Anahit for doing some research ;) . I don't know how I missed that !

My sponsors anyway had their copy of naturalization certificate refused to be notarized, so I'll bring just the "plain" copy. I wanted to bring also their originals certificate but they have applied not a long time ago for their passport and don't have the docs with them.
Thanks again for all the help ! It's nice to see we're in the same boat and always try to help each other. God bless !
