question on checking the case status online !!!

Hi All,

Its rather an absurd question, but I still want to ask you folks.
I have applied for H1 Extension in the month of June. Got only the receipt. Still waiting.
Is it OKAY to check daily at the USCIS web site, your case status?? I heard (rumors), that if you check daily, USCIS would probably try to dig deep into your application that you filed...Is it true, or just hearsay??

you can check daily no problems

If you creat "portfolio" over there, the USCIS automatically sends you an e-mail whenever the status changes. That way you don't have to check every day, though there will be no problem if you do.
