Question on Advanced Parole

Dear folks, I am filing 485 next week for me and my wife ( H4 dependent ),
she is going to india for a month in October, November 2001. My attorney says that there is no problem with the same. Then what is the big deal with this Advanced Parole ... etc. Someone please help...

The big deal is if she decided to go for employment, using EAD, then she

needs Advance parole to travel, this is for future, if she is not going use EAD or her visa not expired,( meaning end of six years )
then you/her do not need AP or EAD.
