Question in DS-156

In DS-156 form which is meant for H1 visa, it asks about the home address.

I am currrently in USA and going to India for a vacation and need to get my H1 revalidated. Which home address i should mention, the one in USA or my contact address in India?

Also which phone number i should mention (India Home/USA Home?). Please let me know.

Hi,

I have the same question. I am in US for past 3 yrs and I am planning to go to Canada to get my H1 stamped (F1-OPT-H1). Which home address and phone number should I give? US or India. My parents moved to a new (rental) house recently (different from the home address in my passport.)

You can use the US address, no harm. You should use the home country address only if it is the first ever visa applied by you...

I used the US address. It wasnt an issue
