Question for trying hard reg: FP reschedule !

can u give us some details like when was u\'r original FP date, after rescheduling, when did u receive the resheduled new notice, finally when is your deadline date compared to the original FP date issued.
Appreciating u\'r help.

mine original FP date December 11,01, rescudeled date not yet received.
RD: aug: 01
ND: sep 01
AP: nov 01
 
RE.RESCHEDULE OF FP

2 of my friends directly went for FP without waiting for re-schedule date, I think you can
take a chance, do take your original(old) FP notice and 2 ID may be passport/EAD/driver\'s license.

This is reference to Newark-NJ office, but in case of others you should give a try, question of
of 2 hours time.

Thanks for your input, the thing in my case is, I have rescheduled my FP, so that I can delay the process till I get married(April 02), so I will not be running the risk of my case getting approved, and my wife getting out of status. Well anyhow I might give it a shot as u suggested, once i come back after marriage and still did not receive a rescheduled notice.

MY ACTUAL FP DATE IS 2/14 AND I CAN GET IT DONE ON ANY WEDNESDAY BEFORE SOME DAY IN MAY WHICH I DON\'T REMEMBER.
AFTER THIS DATE, THEY SAID THE CASE WOULD BE ABANDONED.

I have posted my FP details in another discussion with the same posters as here.

Please continue to share any info on FP rescheduling you might gather. I am also interested in delaying the approval and putting off FP seems to be the way.

Anyone with experience in rescheduling more than once?

What is this cut-off date that one of you mentioned? How was that conveyed to you?

address change after reschedule!

I was told by my attorney that, the rescheduled notice, ASC will send directly to the applicant, they will not cc the attorney. Is that a true statement, even if u reschedule it thru u\'r attorney. mrrk how was u\'r experience. Mine is Philli ASC, any one in same boat.

2: I know one of my friend\'s friend has extended it twice. After a long wait, he got his rescheduled after two attempts. I will try to get more info as which ASC, when and how long it took.

MY RD 7/17/01 ND 9/5/01 FP ???
Because of INS problem they didn\'t send notice to me/or my attorny. My FP date was dec\'29/01, SO is there any other person who got effected same as me by INS ?? And how long does it take to give new FP date when we don\'t have first FP notice sent to us ???

I did not re-schedule it.

I really don\'t understand about INS reschuduling the FP, bcoz, the steps for getting the FP done are clearly written on the notification form. For me they asked to come any following Wednesday to do the FP. IS this a new rule or what.

I am not sure If u guys have the details on ur notification.
Please chk them.

I got the FP notice (2nd one) and my attorney did not get a copy. But, I had sent the rescheduling notice myself, not the attorney.

Please gather any info you(desertrose) can from your friend about rescheduling the second time. I have to decide in a couple of day whether to do it. My appt is later in the week.

Guys, My ND is Nov 01 RD is Nov 21 01 CSC , FP ???, currently in India to get married in case if I get FP notice what is the cut off date , can I reschedule it, is there any way to check it out on AVM.

The case I was referring to is in Texas, ASC(Application Support center). His original FP notice was almost 9 mnths before today. He was unable to go for FP, bcoz he was not married. In his case when he wanted to reschedule, ASC told him to come on any wednesday or saturday for the next 90 days after the first FP notice-date. For the next 90 days also, he was not in position to do his fingerprinting.
 
So he thru his attorney re-scheduled again and waited for the new notice. After 8 mnths or so, he got married and still did\'t get his new notice, so he called INS(not ASC) and talked to an IIO, they re-scheduled for him on march 6th, he received his new notice also. Hope this info helps. Let me know if u have any questions in this regard. Also according my attorney we can always reschedule our FP, and they normally respond with a resceduled date with in 3-4 mnths or more. My gut feel is even if you re-schedule it twice, I don\'t think INS will do any harm for our cases. If the new notice did\'t come, then we can always approach INS and find out the status. The bottlenecks are with followup required for this and to keep track of this till we get our new notice.

I am planning to get married now after FP, before approval. Can my spouse still enjoy follow-to-join previledge? Should the application be dated before approval date or does INS only looks for marriage date to fall before approval date?

FP Queue!

What\'s this FP queue. I saw a posting that FP request has gone into an FP Queue and will be delayed for 3-6mnths. Does reschedule also get into this FP Queue. How do they actually track and reschedule the FP at the ASC. Gurus any funda\'s???? .
