Hi all,

My wife was on F2 when she first came into the US and she got a social security card with "No valid for employment" on it. she then switched to F1 and and now she is working on EAD but we never changed her social security card, will this be an issue or it does not matter when we get called for an interview and asked for her social security card?

Thanks,
Spartakus

Still no harm in getting the SSN card changed with the help of the EAD. Just go to SSN office and file form for correction with EAD as evidence. SSN card will come with "Employment with USCIS authorization"...

I would do this.
