Registered User after your approval when your kids case was approved I read this message on other thread and posted the message seprately to have your attention. please.

In other posts both memebers have mentioned that their seconadry applicants (Kids) were approved after primary approval I am trying to find out how long does it take since they also may not have gone for FP.

My son's case was not yet approved. I contacted local senator and they are very helpful but the problem is that INS has lost the file and case has been assigned to the lost and found department. I should hear status from senator's office next week. I will post u as soon as i hear something

happened to chance upon this thread... my visits to these boards have been sporadic as of late.

i afraid my little son is still not approved, even almost 5 months after my wife's and my approval. we had to apply for an AP for him for an upcoming visit to pakistan with my wife and daughter near the end of the year, just in case his approval has not come through until then. i have to say i really resented shelling out the $165 that is the AP fee now.

at least, he is not losing any time in his citizenship countdown, since his started with my wife's and/or mine, and he becomes eligible for citizenship as soon as either one of his parents is eliglible.

Every one is suffering one or the other way...
USCIS has messedup with our names..., both my wifes name and my name. We were suggested that we should go to local court..., file our names as change in names and get it corrected at USCIS..., a cost estimated to be $400/- per person. Thanks to USCIS...,
 
that's sad news, pork, in the sense that it's one last sub-step that you guys still need to worry about. hope he gets his approval soon. may be a senator inquiry might help...?
