Question for Igmu re. Driving license.

Are you living itn the DC area? I see from your signature that you came through Dulles airport so that makes me think that you may be living in MD. If you are what is the situation with drivers licences? Will my Uk license that I have held for 10 years help me to get a full license in MD? What ate your thoughts on this?

No, I live in South Dakota, but the cheapest fare was through Dulles. And the "rules" for the driver's licence seem to be different in every state. I already had a South Dakota driver's licence five years ago. At that time I had to take the full test, even though I had a licence from Switzerland. This time I only had to re-take the written test as I already had a SD licence before.

If you have to take the whole test again, I can assure you that it should not be a big issue. It's a lot cheaper than anywhere else (I paid $8 here in SD but I assume it's more in DC).
