I have a question, I received NOA I-797 for my I-751, USCIS is giving 1 year extension for my permanent residence, they said I can work and travel (in the mean time they're reviewing my case) If I want to travel, I have to make an appointment so they can stamp my passport, am I right?
Thanks

Which center did you send your I-751?

I got my conditional GC in May 2005 too (married to US Citizen). I sent out my I-751 to CA service center on April 3 and I can see they cashed my check on April 6 and the copy of my check has a WAC number written there. (I just chcked my online banking account with that check copy). However, I have not receive any receipt from them at all ever since I sent out that I-751. I made an Infopass appointment on May 1 because my Conditional GC would be expired on May 4. I went there and the local USCIS officer said she can see the WAC number in the system but there's nothing else there. She said I should just wait for the receipt (with that 1 year extension letter) for another 2 weeks or so. I told her I need some kind of proof that I am authroize to work so she gave me the I-551 stamp on my passport till End of July. Now it's June and it's 2 months since I sent out the I-751 and I still haven't receive any receipt. What else should I do? Just wait and then keep going to the USCIS office ever now and then to have the extension stamp each time?

How long does it take usually for you guys who have similiar situation? Especially for those who sent out to the CA office. I am afraid will I somehow miss their receipt letter or any biometric letter. :(
