My wife is working on EAD (I am the primary applicant on GC). She will quit work shortly as she is near her pregnancy due date.

Question: Will her claiming disability benefit from State Disability insurance affect my GC process.

Does anyone have any experience on this.
 
Did she apply for Short Term Disability insurance from her company? If she did, ask her company about COBRA (insurance after leaving company). That would be a better choice than State Disability.

I am not sure why you would take the risk of risking your GC process for a few measly hundred $s more per month. Any aid from the state during the process is not a good sign.
