Hi All,

I recd. my GC in mail yesterday but my wife's 485 is yet to be approved.
Would there be any problem if I quit my GC sponsoring employer. I have worked for them for the last 11 years(a month & a few days less) of which 5 and a half years here in the US.

Technically there won't be any problem. The only thing is, just in case there is an RFE for any reason then you might need some help from the same lawyer (assuming that you used the company lawyer for your case).

Hi,

My brother got a 221g for his H1 visa stamping at Chennai in Nov 2007 and the petition was sent back to USCIS for review.

I want to know how long it is going to take ? I approached the lawyer and he is asking another 5000 USD to process through congressman / senator to get the actual reasons and possible the employer can fulfill as well. I am not happy about it. What should I do to help my brother ?
