Question for folks with RFE !

Folks,
How long does it take to receive the RFE from the date when it is issues ? My law firm is based in NY and the online site said that an RFE was issued on 7/10. So it would be VSC to NY.
The reason Iam asking is because I was planning to leave on vacation, but might now have to postpone it.
They say 14 days, but does someone have experience about it ?

For me, RFE issued on 06/09/03 and the lawyer received on 06/16/03. I think you will receive your RFE notice less than 2 weeks. Earlier I received RFE for my ead also. I received the notice within a week.

My attorney has not mailed me the medical form and instructions yet. But I think it's because the doctor forgot check some boxes in the form.
