Question for filing I-140 & I-485.

Hi
I am expecting my labor to be cleared at federal level in a month. My H1-B visa stamping on my passport is expired, its more than 1 year. I cann't do revaildation here and I didn't travel out. SO I didn't do stamping.
My question is for filing the I-485 & 140, do I need a cureent visa on the passport page?. If anybody were in this stage or know sure, please advice..

You dont need to have unexpired visa stamping on your passport. You need to have a valid I-94 which you might have got while extending your H-1.
 
Attach the current H1B approval notice and current valid I-94 (front and back). H1BVisa sticker in PP is not needed to file I-140 and I-485, better file EAD, AP at the same time
