Question for concurrent 140/485 filers with RD <= 12/31/2002

Many of my coworkers who filed 140/485 together have got their 140 approved within two months. I filed 140/485 on Dec 17, 2002. My 140 is still pending. I want to know if there are anyone like me with 140 pending?
 
Yes I did. I got my AP approved. However my EAD application was accidently closed. I applied for an interim EAD and got it yesterday. I have no clue about what is going on with my regular EAD application.
 
One of my coworkers filed I140 & I485 in October'02. His I140 is not yet approved. His EAD and AP are approved in Dec'02 itself.
There are many people who filed their I140 before Dec'02 and still not approved yet.

Now March 2003 onwards or so U need to file/send the EAD & AP
petitions to service center instead of the local office. Isn'it that EAD & AP prior to March 2003 were filed at the local office.So how does local office approve 140?140 approval is not done at the local office but at service center.

I filed EAD and AP along with I-140/I-485 in October 2002 at VSC.
EAD and AP was approved after I-140 was approved in January.
