Question for Bro Noman74 !!!

...

My file stayed at NSC and never moved. Last time my LUD changed was when I did my Bio code2 back in Mar/aprl 05. Nothing new until this latest approval update and email which followed with the Welcome letter and the Plastic. I hope this helps you.

Dear Norman & Atique:

I just returned from code 1. So, I start numbering days. I saw four peoples were doing Code 1 of 2000 grade. We chatted while we were waiting the turn. It seems NSC is focusing on 2000 & 2001 recently.

Thanks bro !!!

Thanks Noman, the reason I asked you this cause I noticed in this forum someone was saying lately most approvals were made from local offices but NSC. I had doubts on that issue & now you cleared that up.
You know bro USCIS handles each cases so differenly that it's really hard to come up with a standard procedure. As example one can receives Bio first than RFI or completely the other way round. Some one receives LUD changes during processing several times before final approval others may not at all.
But if you look at all the processing details one should complete before final approval, I have finished them all except RFE (which is not a must for all applicants). Therefore I think mine should be close.
Once again thanks for your quick response brother. I sure appreciate it.
Atique.

Cody, yes certainly you could just count days for your approval. You don't have to wait that long 30/45 days max & than just keep checking your case status regularly, you must see that approval notice soon & we all will be free bird just like our other brother Noman. Hopefully we'll have an exceptionally great X-mas this year with lots of fun along with our freedom. Good luck.
Atique.

..

Cody,

Code1 was the last hurdle and now ur clock is ticking.

Here is the Funny or should I say Corny side: After I got approved and received the plastic, I kept looking at it for 2 days straight. Believe it or not I kept it under my pillow the first night I went to bed and i looked at it twice in the middle of the night hahaha. But now it is sitting with my EAD card which haven't been looked at ever since I got it. I guess the charm and importance fades away once you have it.

But truth to the matter is, my life did revolve around this approval and now I can finally make some vital decisions which will greatly impact my life in the future. For instance: switching jobs, getting married, buying property/house etc. It seems like you can see the light at the end of the tunnel now.

Thats my side of the story. I am not sure what others think.

Lazer,

You are right. I could have but there was this sense of uncertainty about everything. Until this year, I wasn't even sure if i will EVER get a GC. Just wasn't sure where I will end up and that kept me from making any major decisions.
