I have been trying to call the 800 number to find out where my application is at in the process but it seems recently that everytime I get transferred to a second level IO they tell me that the case is pending and that they do not have any other information because that's all what they can see on their screen.

Has the process changed lately? there was a time when a second level IO had more access and could tell where the case was in the process?

My PD is April 6, 2009 and I already did my FPs a month ago. It's usually about 10 days after FPs to be placed in queue for an interview. I'm thinking I might be stuck in name check but the second level IO are not telling me.
