now that my oath is over and green card is surrendered, i need the passport.
is that DS-11 form that we need to fill up...Also, the original naturalization certificate needs to be sent. I would like to keep a copy just in case, but for some reason it say no copying without authorization!

Any way i also need to apply for my spouse I-485. In this , are not supposed to send a copy of naturalization certificate?

thx all

All you need to do is fill in the DS-11 form and bring it to the post office with you but don't sign it until the person at the passport place tells you to.

You can make a copy of your Naturalization certificate for your own needs and this is ok to do.

I'm not sure what the needs are for I-485 form though...so maybe other folks here in the forum can help you further.

USCIS officers at my oath ceremony said you could make as many B&W copies of your natz cert as you needed. They don't much like you making color copies though...
