Question about travel on AP

My current AP expires on Dec 15 2004
I have a new AP that starts on Dec 16th 2004 and expires in Dec 2005
My question is...
Can I go on a trip from 10th Dec to 30th Dec?
 
I did something like that

In July this year I did the same... I traveled out of the country when the old AP was still in effect and came back the second day on which my "new" AP was in effect.

There was no problem at the POE, I just got a new I-94.

Not a problem as long as you leave USA with the very same AP on your hand that you intend to use for re-entry. Basically for using AP for re-entry you need to be eligible for following two conditions:
1. The AP must be approved before departure.
2. The AP must be valid on the day of re-entry.

Your 2nd AP is valid for both conditions above.
As your 2nd AP is approved already, you don't need to take 1st AP with you - you can just discard it.
