question about the re-entry permit

Hi,
I tried to file the re-entry permit myself and have some questions.
1. The column for "class of admission".
Last time, I entered US with my H1B. I became PR based on AOS after that.
Should I enter "H1B" or something else?

2. What do you usually filled in the columns of the purpose of trip and Expected Length of Trip?
Does the purpose of trip have to be a long statement?
Should I said the Expected Length of Trip is one year or two years? I think I will come back before 1 year in order to keep the continuum of residency.

3. Will it be faster to do e-file or paper filing?
For the whole package, I should send the form I-131, a copy of PR card (front and back) and a check of $385. Is there anything else required?
Thanks!

Question no. 2:
I filled "Family responsibility (to visit my ... in ...)".
I think the expected length of trip should be more than one year and less than two years (because: staying abroad for less than one year does not need re-entry permit; the re-entry permit is only valid for two years)

I think the question about Class of Admission does not necessarily ask your status or class when you last entered the US. It needs your current information so as to process your RP. If you are a LPR now, I would put "Permanent Resident" in that section.

Secondly, purpose of trip should be specified, if it's family obligations (which is very common to put) or work-related trip etc. Length of trip must be between one year to two years, so it could be 18 months or some other number in between. If you do plan on returning less than 12 months, you DO NOT need to apply for a RP. You will be wasting your money, that's all.

Thirdly, I think with e-file you still need to send all the additional forms, like copies of GC, photos etc. But I do not know if it is any faster processing.

I think you should file the application normally and send in ALL the supporting documents instead of waiting for an RFE and THEN sending in the supporting documents. This way, the application can be processed as soon as it is assigned.
