I recently applied for renunciation certificate for my son. I got the passport back with "Cancelled as holder acquired US citizenship" stamp on it and Surrender certificate.

The problem is that on the bottom portion of surrender certificate where consulate signs and stamp has my name on it instead of my son name .

Is it ok to have fathers name on it because he is minor or it should have child's name ?

Any comments ?

Thanks in advance

-------------------"canceled as holder acquired US citizenship" stamp is enough and keep that canceled passport. you may need the copy of child canceled passport stamp and copy of SC when child again apply for OCI, PIO or Visa

------------No problems as child passport has canceled stamp on his/her Indian passport.
