Question about stepson

Trying to figure out how to file for my wifes son on the I485 and I130, I am Applying for my wife at the same time. Should I check A or B on the 485? Am I the petitioner for his I130 and not his mother? She is a F-1 student and he is a F-2. Any other info about what I should do different when applying for her son and her at the same time? I have read alot of info on here, but not really found much on this question.

Is your wife's son under 18? Or did you marry his mother before he turned 18? If no to both, you can't petition for him. If yes, you would file a separate I-130 for each of them.
