Question about scripts ?

Sorry Guys ...

Pardon me for being a damp blanket and a party pooper , but while running the automated script , how does one know that a case number LIN-02-***-5**** is for I-485 and not for EAD (I-767) or AP (I-131).

I checked my case numbers (i-485 , i-767 and i-131) and they were all the same except for the last 4 digits.

Has anyone taken this into account and checked the validity of the data before publishing the statistics ?
 
The script extracts the message for all the lin# in sequence and looks for 'Application Type: I485' string, if it is I-485 then it inserts the lin# in a worksheet. This is a great script and in works in VSC board much before than NSC board visitors picked it up.

Ok .. so thats good news ...

Exactly the way I would write my script , but lets not go there.

So there have been cases in Jan 2002 that are being approved. Hopefully we should see some approvals in rupnet soon !! :cool:

Btw, you have quite a fan following here , most people will not ignore what you write, even if its not relevant to thier case.
