On my labor certification and now on my I-140 my company has filled out a salary amount which is higher than I am currently getting. It is a trivial amount, about 2K. I did ask why there was a difference and they said it was the amount I will be getting at the time I face my CP. When you do CP I believe you are supposed to show your most recent pay stubs. Does my current non-immigrant salary have anything to do with my immigrant petition salary? Is the salary difference going to be an issue at CP?
