question about RTD and Reentry Permit

having obtained my permanent resident status thru asylum, should i apply for
RTD or reeentry permit? Apparently I prefer a reentry permit because it's good for 2 years. I don't have a national passport so do i have to get a visa to any country I intend to visit? Is it possible to avoid indication of my home country in any of those documents due to the fact that I supposedly no longer have the citizenship of my country of birth?
Anybody knows the answers to these questions?

you need visa for many countries, as far as i know you need RTD if you do not have you NP or you want to stay out of USA for more than 6 minths ( second one not sure) but you need visa.
Good Luck

you can apply either one.re-entry permit is better.
your home country will be mentioned even on your US passport.no escape.

You mean even when you got the citizenship, the U.S. passport will show that you are citizen of other country instead of US. I seriously doubt that.
