Question about RFI - related 2 turning medical exams and doing fingerprint late

I did my fingerprinting (bio they called it right?) a week late - and they took my prints and photo. I also turned in my medical exams 1 month and a half (or almost 2 months) late. Apparently they have not made a decision on my case and they did acknowledge they received the 2 "things" - med exams (RFI) and bio - via the web by updating my LUD. They have not sent any emails, but on the web they acknowledged they receive each of 2 "things" a week or 2 after submition. First, I was out of the country, then I was out of money to pay for medical exams right away, that is why I turned things late. I wrote to them and told my reasons for turning things late. To clarify - they have received everything they asked from me so far, on the RFI, but I turned them in late.

QUESTIONS: do you think they may reject my application to adjust (I-485) simply because I turned things late? Any body else have had a similar story and got their adjusment approved or rejected???

(I posted this inside someone else's thread but got only one reply. I am hoping to hear from people who turned in med exams and did bio/fingerprint late like me - did you get approaved or denied? or are still wanting like me. I also know that my case my be approaved only next year according with uscis new timeline for asylee adjustment.)

Thanks

Mr. Hen It not that we hate you that we are not responding to your question but it is because your situation in unique. I have not seen situation like this before, but in my opinion I think you have nothing to worry. You got them before they got you. If you have turned everything in and they ackowledge and you gave them reasons for being late I think you are fine. They would have sent you a denial already if they didn't accept you evidence. Don't worry about it.....

Ok you can't do anything right now. Whenever the officer comes to your case and if he notices you were late, he will make a decision on that. According to my lawyer if somoene misses an appointment, usually they are leniant on that..if you have a good excuse, like had an accident or some sick familiy members etc but the lawyers file a request to do that.

So right now you sent them the information which is good. If suppose they deny you, you are not in bad shape. You won indefintie asylum and you can re-apply and the positive is that with no cap, you are looking at a year wait maybe 2...I am just listing worst case scenarios.

I think the officers look at the case file to see if medicals, FP are there ..I doubt that they would have enough time to go in detail as to when they sent you and when you sent them etc...as long as they have it before making their decision.

You made a mistake of not turning in info at the right time and if you have to reapply, you should be ready to accept it.

hard to relax sometimes though... i will try... thanks for comment

henri97,

I agreee with faysal. Although you submited your medical late, you provided the NSC with the financial reason. I doubt they will deny you base on that.

I know it is hard to relax when you are dealing with immigration. This is a human nature. The truth is that the more you think about it the more stressful you become. That does not do you any good. I was so up-tight for few day until this afternoon I received my approval. If you can, you should try to find something that are more productive to do and let you forget about the immigration issue for awhile. While this board has provided me with a lot of support and informative information, it is also a very stressful place to visit.

Thanks guys .... i needed to hear that...
