I have been having this question for quite sometime.
On the USCIS site that shows processing times in NSC, at this link, look at the date for I485 - https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/Processtimes.jsp?SeviceCenter=NSC
The table shows the following currently (03/28/2008 1341 hrs)
I-485 :: Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status :: Employment Based Adjustment applications :: June 08 2007
The question I have is - What is the meaning of this date?
Does this mean that all the I-485 filed on or before June 08 2007 are being processed right now and (hopefully) those applicants can expect to get GC in few months from now (if the application is approved)
Any insight on this will be helpful.
