question about premium processing of H1

If I apply for H1 regularly and later after filing can I make it premium processing by doing the relevant paper work and paying appropriate fees? Any thoughts please.
 
yes u can .. i got it done this month itself ... after it was converted to premium my extension was approved in 5 working days .
