Question about port of entry?

I am thinking of applying for TN at eithor Derby line, Vermont or thousand islands, Alexandria Bay, not sure yet. Any comments on these two ports of entry?
Where are you located, and under what category are you seeking a TN?

I don't think you can make an appointment with a TN officer. Try going there during business hours to get a qualified officer who knows about all the process. The POE at Ogdensburg, NY is small and usually are nice. I got my TNs from that POE a few times and its always been successful. Good luck!

I am in Pittsfield, MA. and the category I will apply for is engineer. Is there any other port of entry you will recommend?
Try Vermont. My husband, also an engineer, renewed his TN visa there. It took him only less an hour. The length of waiting/processing really depends on whether or not the border officials are busy.

Is it possible to make an appointment with TN officer?
Hi,
While it isn't really possible to make an "appointment" with a NAFTA officer, you can always call ahead and find out their schedule & see what times and days they are available. I've called the POE in Erie ON / Buffalo NY on a couple occasions to see when the TN officeer typically is working.
