Question about picture

I am going to file extension of EAD and AP. I heard the rule of picture has been changed. Passport style picture is required.

My question is that if pictures showing my wearing glassess are acceptable?

In the past, I was told wearing glassess is unacceptable. Is this still the same now?

You never know.
The first time my wife applied for EAD, we submitted a picture on which she was wearing earrings. We received a letter from INS saying it is not acceptable. IT DIDN'T say that in the instructions! Nowhere!

However, there are 2 funny parts of this story.

1. You can see examples of the pictures on the Web site above. The woman wears the earrings there!

2. When we submitted another set of photograps without earrings...guess what!...they used the ones WITH earrings!
 
I just saw my friend's new EAD card. He had his glassess on.

But I am not sure about AP. Anybody has real life experience of wearing glassess and got that picture printed on AP?
