question about PCC

hi all,

I just noticed that my PCC from the consulate is issued with my old passport number.

The deal is, the day they issued the PCC CGNY also issued a new passport for me. The new passport contains the old ones number, and elsewhere in my applications through the GC process it's the old number that shows up.

I will obviously be carrying both.

The Newyork Consulate told me it's not an issue, the need not issue a new PCC, and simply carrying both passports is enough if anyone demands my PCC.

What do you think? Will it cause any problem? I'm leaving in a week, and the interview is in Sept.

Manish_r0,

I don't think u will have a problem. If ur old passport number is in new passport and if u have both passports, that should be fine. Don't worry about this. Have a safe trip and good luck with the interview.
