I & my spouse got our passports stamped a couple of weeks back at the INS office. We gave the approval notice(the one that the INS sends to the lawyer). The INS officer took our signature, finger-print & noted down our A# on our respective forms. She also attached our original approval notice(the lawyer one) & then stamped our passports. She didn\'t note down any address.
I assumed that our A# or EAC# with the INS will be used to locate our home address automatically. Was I wrong?
Will our Plastic cards now go to the lawyer or to my home address.
I have asked this question before, but have received different answers.
My lawyer says that no matter which approval notice we give(Courtesy or Original), the Green Card now belongs to me, so it will be mailed to my home address.
Any thoughts/similar experience?Thanks in advance.

Spoke to an IIO today.

She said that the Plastic card will be mailed to my home address.
She also verified my home address for me & said that they have already received my I-89 form.
This puts an end to all the speculation.
Passport stamped on 13th Dec 2001.
Thanks a lot guys.

If it\'s VSC, then the same number...802-527-4913

Give your case number as usual & the IIO will take it from there.
