yesterday my wife went to interview for citizenship in greer south corolina and she passed same time she told offer she want change the name . i am just curious when she can expect the letter for oath cermony and anyway i can track when is the next availble oath cermony anybody have any experience please post it here.

she should have asked for name change earlier as the new name will now re-trigger the fbi name check. that could take days, or weeks.
also, they need to schedule a judicial oath for her rather than a regular one. these might be infrequent and hence take more time.
you need to track other people from greer to see what the schedules are like, but be prepared for a delay of a few weeks at least.

Not true. A name change request at interview does not trigger a new FBI name check. A new background check would only be triggered if the applicant informed the IO at interview that they have changed their name since submitting application.

Since your wife has requested for a name change, a judicial oath ceremony would be needed. It will take some time for the USCIS to schedule this as it is not frequently held as the regular oath ceremonies. Be patient and wait for the notification. If you are too anxious, contact USCIS regarding this.

today when i check my wife's status update i saw like this i hope i will hear something soon with in 45 days

On July 8, 2011, we placed your application in the oath scheduling que. We will send a notice when the ceremony is scheduled. If you move prior to the scheduled ceremony, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

Naturalization Applicants: you will receive your certificate at your oath ceremony. You can expect to be scheduled for an oath ceremony within 45 days of receiving your recommended approval. Many offices schedule approved applicants for the oath ceremony on the same day as the day of the interview. Please check the local office profile page on our website to determine if the office where you will be interviewed schedules same day oath ceremonies.
