I'm doing NIW myself.
Qualifications:
Ph.D. from a fairly good US univ.
Postdoc now in a famous institute; cancer drug research;
5 international publications; 15 citations; 1 American national student award; NIH and NSF funded research; Ph.D. work results were interested by a Giant foreingh company; letters from NIH, USDA, universities;
However, one letter states:
"few American students are being trained in this important area"
another said:
"availability of qualified researchers in this area is diminishing"
The experts added these statements themselves, and i know they want to streghthen my case. However, now i'm afraid this kinds of statements might hurt my NIW application because it may show contradiction with the NOT labor shortage argument. Anyone has good ideas?
Thanks
