Question about Joint sponsor, filing for AOS, help!!!

hello all,
for affidivit of support, can anyone tell me about joint sponsor? i have somebody who is willing to be one . My joint sponsor has not been in the usa more than 2 yrs, (green card holder)..so how can he show W2 for last 3 years?? can he still sponsor me ?? or what are other options to do so? i ll really appreciate ur help. thanks

as far as I know, the sponsor and joint sponsor has to be domiciled in the US.
