Question about I 864 Affidavist of Support

Hi everyone,
I am a foreigner, staying in the US and just got married to a husband who is an USC. My husband had two children from his previous marriage and they are not living with him. We want to ask whether the two children will be included in his household size. We know that the income requirement has to be 125% of the standard income to support the household size. We don't know how to decide the household size in our situation. We will strongly appreciate anyone who can help us. Thank you very much.
 
Unless they are 18 or older, or his support obligations for them have been permanently terminated, he has to count them in his household size for the I-864.

And regardless of their age or child support, he has to count them if he's claiming them as dependents on his tax return.
