I needed help with a question 1 had about my H1 renewal this year.
My current H1-b visa will be expiring on September 30, 2009. I have this visa for 3 years since 2006. I was told by my lawyer to start the renewal process in March.
I have to leave the country in May for a week for a family affair and was wondering if i send in my renewal papers in March, will i have a problem coming back to the US in May? Please help!! my lawyer hasn't yet replied to my query and i am starting to get worried.
