Question about I-485
Hi Everybody,
I had a Question about my green card, My LIN Number is LIN020485**** I dont really remember when we applied, but my Parents green card was approved like 2 month ago, and they have the date from the first day we came to USA, Like we came in 2000 and thats what it said we are permant resident, now I am a minor, I am 17 right now, My RTD its pending in Nebraska and my I-485, but they send me a letter that said I have to go back to the local service, and get a new I-89, and since than thats what the online status said:Application Type: I485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status
Current Status:
On June 6, 2003, we mailed a notice requesting that you appear within 30 days for ADIT processing, in which we will record your signature and fingerprints for further processing. The notice also gave the location and times where this processing would be done. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please contact the service center where you submitted your application during business hours.
now Nebraska did recieve my I-89 but it still didn't change it stil is the same message, now do I have to wait another year to get my actual green card, and it is going to be like my family from the date I arrived? And do I maybe need to get a lawer, and could my case still be denied? But the letter I recieved said my I-485 status has been approved but my gc can not be issued till they recieve new fingerprints and my I-89, any Idea?? Please write if you can help me that would help me alot.
